Would you like to stay in Bénodet with your four-legged companion? You are in the right place!

Would you like to stay in Bénodet with your four-legged companion? You are in the right place! Facing Glénan and on the banks of the Odet, Bénodet has everything you need for walks between sea and countryside with your dog.

On the beach

Un prefectural decree bans dogs on the beaches of Finistère from June 1 to September 30. A municipal decree prohibits the presence of dogs on the beaches of Bénodet all year round, except from October 31 to May 1 on the beaches of Coq and Saint-Gilles.

However, our canine friends can swim from the following locations:

  • Bac hold
  • Corniche access ramp (customs officers’ hold)
  • St. Thomas slipway
  • Dock of the Quai Commandant l'Herminier
  • Penfoul hold

Our favorite walk: along the 4 beaches of Bénodet

From Anse de Penfoul, we follow the estuary ledge passing through the two ports of Bénodet to Letty Beach. We can even venture into theAnse du Petit Moulin, whose wooded surroundings and marshy areas contrast with the coastline.

Dogs must be kept on a leash. We are in a protected area : the White Sea and the polders of Mousterlin.

Our partners

Our four-legged friends are welcome at several of our partners. Discover the establishments that welcome them (marked "pets accepted")!

At the tourist office

Dogs are also allowed to enter the tourist office. We even have a bowl so they can quench their thirst.
