Musée du Bord de Mer
In Bénodet in Brittany, the entire art of seaside living is revealed in this pretty seaside museum. You can also enjoy temporary exhibitions all year round.
Near the Tourist Office, Bénodet's seaside museum is open to visitors all year round.
Respecting the wishes of its founder, Mr. Jean Boissel, this museum retraces the history of tourism at the seaside and on the banks of the river.
You will discover a permanent exhibition dedicated to coastal leisure and the first sea bathing. You can also admire models, beach toys and photos that retrace the history of Finistère's first seaside resort.
The art of coastal living is the unusual thread that leads you through these exhibits, all designed to take you and your family back in time and experience another side of Bénodet.
