With family, friends or lovers, there is always a beach that meets your desires in Bénodet in the heart of the Breton Riviera and South Finistère.
Enjoy four times the fun in Bénodet!
To your delight, Bénodet has four beaches that are ideal for swimming and water sports.
Facing south, the Trez beach, is the star beach of Bénodet. The Rooster beach offers privacy in the golden evening light. To the east, the Pointe Saint-Gilles beach, is oriented towards the Glénan archipelago. Finally, Letty beach faces the White Sea lagoon.
Trez Beach has a lifeguard service in summer, as well as a children's club and a spot where you can hire windsurfs, catamarans and more.
Choose the beach to suit the tides, the time and which way the wind is blowing, then settle down and enjoy the view.

The CRS monitor the beach in July and August from 12:30 p.m. to 19 p.m., every day. It is accessible to people with reduced mobility (a tiralo is available from the lifeguards).

HIGH TIDES
At low tide, the shoreline is a never-ending delight, where you can hunt down shrimps, track down crabs or pick up shellfish. It's rock-pooling at its best for all ages, and French people will even hunt for shellfish to eat, but please respect the marine environment and check the current rules if you plan to eat any of your catch.
Some tips to ensure it stays fun:
- Pay attention to the weather and the tides.
- Do not go alone to an unknown place.
- Take a watch and a phone (CROSS emergency number 196).
- Ask the Tourist Office about fishing bans and restrictions.
- Equip yourself with a ruler.
- Sort the species harvested as you go.
- Take only what you consume.
- Use respectful tools.
- Replace the stones you move.
By following these best practices, you protect resources, the marine environment and safety. In this way, you ensure that this pleasure remains accessible to everyone and for a long time to come.
