Bénodet in the rain Our ideas for a successful stay

Is the sun looking gloomy? No problem! In Bénodet, rainy weather is not synonymous with boredom.

Quite the opposite, in fact! It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the resort from a different angle, in a gentler, more intimate atmosphere. Here are a few ideas for making the most of your day, sheltered from the drops.

A moment just for you

There’s nothing like a relaxing break to take your mind off the weather! Take the opportunity to recharge your batteries in one of our spas or thalassotherapy centre. Heated seawater pools, relaxing massages, hammam… Leave the rain outside, and recharge your batteries in a bubble of warmth and serenity.

A sheltered afternoon

Take the opportunity to visit the Musée du Bord de Mer. Here you can discover thehistory of Bénodet, from its origins to its development as a seaside resort. It’s a fascinating and informative tour, ideal for the curious (and free!).

Through models, beach toys, period photos and unusual objects, young and old alike can discover thehistory of the resort and of yachting on the Odet. The scenography, inspired by the marine world, makes the visit fun and immersive. And with temporary exhibitions all year round, there’s always something new to explore!

A gourmet break

Rain is the perfect excuse for a gourmet break! Make yourself comfortable in a tearoom or crêperie and enjoy a freshly-prepared crêpe or waffle, accompanied by a sweetcider or hot chocolate. It’s a chance to discover the flavours of Brittany from the warmth of home.

It’s also a good time to visit the two biscuit makers in Bénodet! With their scents of salted butter and Breton traditions, Bénodet’s biscuit factories are an ideal gourmet stop-off to keep you busy on rainy days. At either the Biscuiterie de Bénodet or François Garrec, you can discover the secrets behind the making of galettes, palets, kouign-amann and other local sweets.

What about the family?

The Bénodet cinema offers screenings all day and all year round: perfect for keeping the kids occupied or treating yourself to a good film in the original or dubbed version. With a varied programme ranging from animated films to family comedies, there’s something for everyone!

In the mood for a bit of action?

Then head to PandAventure Park! This indoor amusement park offers a host of fun activities: giant slides, ball pools, pedal-powered helicopters, tree climbing and much more. While the children explore the games, parents can relax in the “Treasure Tree”snack bar or simply enjoy the tropical setting. A joyful interlude to share with the whole family (and under cover!).
