The Anses and the Bay of Bénodet

Bénodet offers a succession of enchanting coastal landscapes that add to its charm. Let yourself be seduced by its intimate coves and majestic bay, inviting you to relax and discover.

The Bay of Bénodet opening onto the Atlantic Ocean

A real picture postcard, the Bay of Bénodet opens out onto theAtlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline. This is where the resort’s most emblematic beaches, such as Plage du Trez, are concentrated. The bay is the scene of many water sports: swimming, sailing, kayaking… It’s also from the bay that you can admire theGlénan archipelago in the distance and the sailing boats heading out to sea. The sunsets here are spectacular, colouring the sky with a thousand lights.

L'Anse de Penfoul the hidden corner of the marina

Sheltered from the winds,Anse de Penfoul is a haven of peace. This is the heart of the local yachting scene, with a charming marina. Bordered by wooded areas and rocks, the cove is an ideal place for a stroll, where you can watch the ballet of boats coming and going. From l’Anse de Penfoul, you can take the coastal path all the way to themouth of the Odet. Don’t forget your binoculars to watch the terns nesting on the Anse pontoon!

L'Anse du Petit Moulin a preserved natural treasure

The wilder, more secretiveAnse du Petit Moulin exudes an authentic, unspoilt atmosphere. Its name recalls the past presence of a tide mill, of which only a few remains remain. The cove is a listed site and a popular place to take a stroll for its tranquillity and typically Breton setting, far from the hustle and bustle of the big beaches. Please note that fishing on foot is prohibited here, as the cove is part of the Natura 2000 zone of the Mousterlin marshes, an area protected for its exceptional flora and fauna.
