Description
OCEANOPOLIS BREST
Let's change our view of the ocean
Océanopolis Brest, National Center for Scientific Culture dedicated to the Ocean, is a unique place for sharing knowledge in Europe to understand the different marine ecosystems of the planet and better preserve them. More than a visit, Océanopolis promises you a captivating world tour in the heart of the ocean through 3 pavilions (Polar - Tropical - Brittany), an otter trail and the new research laboratory open to the public: Océanolab.
In 2024, Océanopolis continues its metamorphosis for an even more immersive and sensory visiting experience. Some areas will be temporarily inaccessible from September to December, but the site remains open for the duration of this major renovation and extension project.
