The Coastal Circuit

Description

Let yourself be captivated by the beauty of a stroll by the sea and discover spectacular coastal landscapes! This circuit goes around Bénodet. From Penfoul cove, follow the entire corniche to Letty. Pass by the marina then cross the long Trez beach and its beach huts. At the tip of Groasguen, admire the superb view of the White Sea, this lagoon which is visible at low tide. The walk continues along the Petit Moulin cove. You can cross the cove using a long footbridge. Take the time to stop in this beautiful natural setting where you can observe a great diversity of bird species.

Steps

1.  In the parking lot on rue Jean Bart (at the end of rue Duguay-Trouin) head towards the small path. At the intersection turn left and follow Anse Penfoul. Continue on the corniche to the Port de Plaisance. Continue on the cornice to Pointe St Gilles. View location

2.  At the tip of Groasguen, reach Letty beach by going down the stairs. Pass the UCPA and follow the strike. View location

3.  Pass the car park and the Hent Beg Croissen Area (at the end of rue Hent Beg Croissen) then continue straight on the path. At Anse du Petit Moulin, turn right onto the road to Kergariou. Follow the path to arrive on the road to Letty Névez. Continue straight at the roundabout and cross the housing estate. View location

4.  At the Poulpry sports area, continue and after a few steps, pass Avenue de Kersalé to reach Rue de Mordant on your right. Continue on your right, cross a green space and a housing estate. At the Avenue de Fouesnant roundabout (D44), continue straight. Pass the ZA de Keranguyon then go around the housing estate via the small path along the wooded embankment. View location

5.  At the Keranguyon Vihan dead end, continue straight on. A few steps later, cross the roundabout at the entrance to Bénodet then continue on the road to Quimper (D34) and take the path on the right along Anse de Penfoul. You will find on your left the small path towards the starting point. View location
