Eco-responsible accommodation

At ‘Au 46’, respect for the environment is a priority. Everything here is organic, local, zero waste and made from recycled materials.

The guest house has put in place a number of initiatives to reduce its ecological footprint:

Local and organic

Meals are prepared using fresh, organic ingredients sourced from local producers or the guest house garden.

Reducing waste

Rigorous waste management is an everyday habit, including composting and systematic recycling.

Renewable energy

Heating and electricity are partly supplied by renewable energy sources.

Water and energy savings

Devices such as water flow reducers and LED lighting are used to limit consumption.

‘Au 46’ is also certified European Ecolabel and LPO refuge!

Supporting the local economy

‘Au 46’ is committed to promoting local artisans and traders:

  • Sourcing jams, honey and dairy products from local producers.
  • Promoting Breton designers through decorative objects and works of art exhibited on site.
  • Giving recommendations for activities, restaurants and local shops to enhance your discovery of Bénodet.

Tasty vegan cuisine

Carole offers us healthy, tasty vegan cuisine that celebrates life and local produce. The produce used in the kitchen comes directly from Pierre’s carefully tended vegetable garden.
