Waste management A local authority committed to a clean coastline

Bénodet is actively committed to preserving the quality of its living environment and coastal landscapes. Waste management is handled by the Communauté de Communes du Pays Fouesnantais (CCPF), in partnership with the commune, to ensure efficient collection and optimised sorting all year round.

Organisation of collection

Household wastecollection day:

Friday of odd-numbered weeks, between 4.30 a.m. and 12 noon

All year round, except 25 December and 1 January

Collection by bin mainly concerns single-family homes and businesses. Household waste (grey bins) and recyclable packaging (yellow bins) are collected in Bénodet every Friday. Waste service staff make their rounds between 4.30am and 12pm.

Withthe exception of 25 December and 1 January, collections take place all year round. To facilitate the work of the staff, grey and yellow binsshould be placed at the nearest collection point. The fee applied is incentive-based and depends on the volume of waste and the number of lifts.

The Kerambris waste collection centre is open all year round from Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays).

Opening hours from 1 April to 30 September: 8.30am-12pm / 1.30pm-6pm

Only residents of the Pays Fouesnantais with an access card have access to the waste collection centres (for more information, contact the Waste Management Centre). Companies with a “professional” access card can access the Kerambris waste centre.
