Our sustainable approach

At Bénodet, respect for the environment and quality of life are always among our top priorities. The Tourist Office is fully committed to sustainable development, in line with the local council’s commitments, and the resort been awarded the Blue Flag label.

Our eco-responsible actions

For several years now, we have been taking practical steps to limit our ecological impact and promote more responsible tourism.

  • Reasonable management of resources: selective sorting, reduced printing, use of eco-materials for communication media, energy and water savings on our premises.
  • Raising visitor awareness: distributing eco-responsible guides, promoting eco-friendly transport (cycling, walking), encouraging respect for the natural environment (beaches, paths, biodiversity).
  • Support for committed local players: accommodation, restaurants, service providers and producers who share our values of sustainability.

A daily commitment

The Tourist Office applies sustainable practices in its internal operations and in the way it welcomes and informs visitors.

  • Reducing our environmental footprint: limiting paper printing in favour of digital media, choosing recycled or recyclable materials, rational management of energy and water.
  • Rigorous selective sorting within the office and raising team awareness of environmentally-friendly actions.
  • Responsible purchasing: selection of local suppliers and/or suppliers committed to a virtuous approach, choice of sustainable and environmentally-friendly products.

Our approach is based on a strong conviction: tomorrow’s tourism is being built today, with concrete actions and a collective commitment. Bénodet Tourist Office also takes action on a daily basis, through responsible internal practices and a sustainable purchasing policy. Our aim is to develop our services in a spirit of continuous improvement, to ensure that our region is vibrant, attractive and respectful of the environment.
