Coming to Bénodet By train

Want to discover Bénodet without driving? It’s possible! The train is an excellent option for getting to our seaside resort from many French towns, in complete peace and quiet.

The main points to Quimper

Bénodet does not have a railway station, but the nearest station is in Quimper, just 16 km from Bénodet.

Quimper is served by direct trains from Paris-Montparnasse in around 3h30, as well as from several other major towns:

  • Rennes
  • Nantes
  • Brest
  • Bordeaux (with connections)

From Quimper to Bénodet Options for completing your journey

Once you arrive at Quimper station, there are several waysof getting to Bénodet:

  • By bus:
    Line 941 of the BreizhGo network runs directly from Quimper station to Bénodet in around 30 to 40 minutes.
  • By taxi:
    Taxis are available outside the station. The journey takes around 20 minutes.
    From Bénodet, you can contact the Tourist Office’s taxi and VTC partners to return to the station.
  • Hire a car:
    There are several car rental agencies in the immediate vicinity of the station, so you can enjoy greater freedom during your stay.

Practical tip

Be sure to check the bus timetable according to your arrival time in Quimper, especially in the evening, at weekends and on public holidays. In the event of a late connection or public holiday, a taxi may be the quickest solution.
