Compagnie Penn Ar Bed runs ferry services between the islands and the mainland. Take a trip aboard fast, comfortable ferries through the Parc Marin d’Iroise to discover the islands of Ouessant (Ushant), Molène and Sein ! Leave from Brest harbour, sail down through the Brest Approaches and around the Pointe Saint-Mathieu to the first stopover at Le Conquet. Next stop is the island of Molène and its maze of islets surrounded by clear, turquoise water, then across the Fromveur to Ouessant, the largest and highest of the islands in the Mer d’Iroise with its magnificent, unspoilt scenery. In July and August trips run from Brest to the Ile de Sein via Camaret. Even before you arrive on the island, the crossing can be memorable if, once you have passed the Pointe du Raz and La Vieille lighthouse, the local dolphins swim out to play around the bow of the ship! Our ferries run every day to the islands at ‘the end of the world’ with a crew of friendly stewardesses and seamen. Welcome aboard !
