A stone's throw from Pointe Saint Mathieu, come back in time in this exceptional German blockhouse. On 5 floors, discover a museography centered on the testimonies and anecdotes, largely illustrated by thousands of objects, documents and photographs. While descending into the fortress, begin by immersing yourself in the daily life of the soldiers on the Atlantic wall. Then, through thematic rooms, relive the History of the war in Brittany, told by those who lived it. Finally, enjoy the unique panoramic viewpoint offered by the kiosks and the roof of the blockhouse, at the entrance to the Brest harbor, from the Crozon peninsula to the island of Ouessant. Open 7 days a week from April 1st to November 11th, from 10am to 6:30 pm without interruption. Open every day except public holidays during the holidays of Christmas and winter, from 10:00 to 18:00 without interruption. free visit, duration 1h-1h30. PMR access on 30% of the museum. Museography declined in French, English, German.
